History
The Poussin is an amateur-built aircraft designed in 1957 by Albert Gatard. It was presented to the press in 1958. It is a single-seat, low-wing, conventional landing gear monoplane. The aircraft has an all-wood structure covered with plywood.
The Poussin has the particularity that to climb it is not the fuselage of the aircraft that tilts by the effect of the elevator, but flaps that extend and increase the lift, while the single-piece horizontal plane compensates for pitch, allowing the fuselage to maintain the same incidence.
Many Poussin were produced by amateurs and still fly.
