Historique
Monsieur Brochet was a very enlightened amateur builder because he made his first machine, a glider in 1928, then a motorcycle-glider and a light plane in 1934.
It was not until 1947 that the MB 50 Pipistrelle, a high-winged monoplane for amateur construction, appeared. Two experimental machines were built, followed by a dozen others. The aircraft could receive different engines of equivalent power available at that time: Sarolea, but also Poinsard, Salmson…

Our aircraft
Our Pipistrelle was almost finished, but never flew. The Pipistrelle being a common breed of bat in France, ours remained long asleep in an attic, probably upside down. We recovered it in 1993 in the Paris region.
